Alicia Buck, MS, BAAS, CST
Alicia Buck, MS, BAAS, CST, has served for more than 10 years as program director and professor of surgical technology at Temple College in Temple, Texas. A Certified Surgical Technologist since 2011, she continues to practice on a PRN basis at Baylor Scott & White Memorial. Her clinical background includes cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, plastic surgery, and trauma surgery.
Buck earned a Master of Science in Organizational Learning and Technology from East Texas A&M University, where she participated in the National Society of Leadership and Success. She also completed the Texas Community College Teachers Association's Faculty Fellowship Program and Achieving the Dream's Course Redesign for Student Success series.
Buck has served on several local, state, and national committees and boards, including the Temple College Center for Teaching and Learning and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board's Workforce Education Course Manual Revision Subcommittee. She recently completed service on a microgrant committee focused on course quality frameworks and policy. She currently serves as vice president of the ARC/STSA Board of Directors.
