Alicia Buck, MS, BAAS, CST
Alicia Buck is the program director and associate professor of the surgical technology program at Temple College in Temple, Texas. She has been a surgical technologist since 2011 and continues to practice PRN at Baylor Scott & White Memorial. Her background of practice is in cardio-thoracic and vascular surgery, along with plastics and trauma surgery. She worked as a CNA and a dental assistant before finding her true passion in surgery. She has been a surgical technology educator for more than eleven years, while at the same time advancing her education, receiving her Master of Science in Organizational Learning and Technology from Texas A&M University in 2019. She has served on committees for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, actively serves as an advisor on several academic committees at Temple College and has served as an ARC/STSA Site Evaluator since 2022
