Alicia Buck, MS, BAAS, CST, is the program director and faculty of the surgical technology program at Temple College in Temple, Texas. She has been a surgical technologist since 2011 and continues to practice PRN at Baylor Scott & White Memorial. Her background of practice is in cardio-thoracic and vascular surgery, along with plastics and trauma surgery. She worked as a CNA and a dental assistant before finding her true passion in surgery. She has been a surgical technology educator for more than ten years, while at the same time advancing her education, most recently obtaining her Master of Science in Organizational Learning and Technology from Texas A&M University. She has served on committees for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, actively serves as an advisor on several academic committees at Temple College and has served as an ARC/STSA Site Evaluator since 2022.
