Candice Spencer, KCSA, CSFA, CST, graduated from the Bowling Green Technical College surgical technology program in 2009. Candice then went to work at The Medical Center at Bowling Green as a Certified Surgical Technologist. While working at Medical Center, Candice pursued an education at Meridian Institute of Surgical Assisting to become a surgical assistant and earned the Certified Surgical First Assistant credential in 2015. After gaining several years of surgical assisting experience at Profession Surgical Assistants, she assumed the role of Clinical Externship Coordinator for Meridian Institute of Surgical Assisting.
