Christy Baily-Byers, MBA, APR, serves as the Director of Education Services for the Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (ARC/STSA) and Education and Accreditation Resource, LLC (EdAccred), where she is responsible for the development and delivery of accreditation-related educational programming and outreach activities.
Prior to joining the ARC/STSA, she served on the staff of two institutional accreditors, where she was responsible for distance education initiatives, site visits, and developing and leading training programs.
Baily-Byers worked in higher education as a faculty member and university administrator for more than 20 years at Southern Methodist University, Texas Woman’s University, the University of Hartford, the University of Memphis, and Nova Southeastern University. She was named Rotunda Outstanding Professor at SMU, and Outstanding Faculty Advisor by the Public Relations Student Society of America.
Baily-Byers lives in North Texas with her amazing kids and a crew of liver-spotted Dalmatians.
