Crystal Shea, BA, CST
Crystal Shea, B.A., CST, is the Program Director of Surgical Technology at Frederick Community College, a role she has held since 2022.
A graduate of FCC's own Surgical Technology program (2014), Shea returned to her alma mater as Clinical Coordinator in 2019 before stepping into program leadership.
She approaches program development through systems-building, genuine engagement with student and faculty feedback, and cultivating relationships across internal and external constituents. This is work that keeps the program continuously improving and accreditation-ready as a matter of culture, not crisis.
