Lydell “Dale” Powell, AAS, CSFA, CST, is the surgical first assist program director at San Juan College in Farmington, NM. He developed the program in 2018 after 20 years of surgical experience. Through collaboration, teamwork, and in the midst of a pandemic, Powell successfully achieved accreditation through CAAHEP in 2020. He has had the privilege of working with EdAccred since November of 2021 on the CCSA fourth addition. Powell is an ordained minister and enjoys serving at a local church on the praise and worship team as well as leading a men’s bible study.
