Jamey Watson, BAS, CST, FAST
Jamey Watson, BAS, CST, FAST is the Perioperative Clinical Educator – Surgical Technology (System Wide) for Northeast Georgia Health System. With nearly three decades of experience in surgical technology and surgical education, Jamey is passionate about advancing the profession through excellence in education, mentorship, and clinical practice.
A Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and Fellow of the Association of Surgical Technologists (FAST), Watson has served in a variety of leadership and educational roles, including program chair, faculty member, and operating room professional. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to developing innovative educational programs, strengthening clinical partnerships, and preparing future surgical technologists to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
Watson is a frequent presenter on topics including surgical technology education, clinical instruction, professional development, and perioperative best practices. He is committed to fostering collaboration between academic programs and healthcare organizations while promoting lifelong learning and excellence within the surgical technology profession.
