Krista Vylasek, MHS, CST
Krista Vylaskek, MHS, CST, serves as Dean of the School of Health Sciences, bringing a wealth of experience in healthcare education, academic leadership, and workforce development.
Her leadership journey began as a Surgical Technology Program Director, where she developed a passion for student success and program excellence. As a U.S. Navy veteran, she values service, accountability, and lifelong learning.
Vylasek also serves as an ARC/STSA site visitor, supporting accreditation and continuous quality improvement in surgical technology education programs. A Florida native who now calls Minnesota home, she is dedicated to preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals through innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence.
