Mona Bourbonnais, MSc, BSEd, CST, FAST
Mona Bourbonnais, MSc, BSEd, CST, FAST, has been a Certified Surgical Technologist for more than 35 years, with the last 25 dedicated to education and program leadership at Boise State University and the College of Western Idaho.
She served on the Idaho State Assembly Board of Directors for five years, contributed to the AST Education and Professional Standards Committee from 2015–2022, and served on the AST Board of Directors (2024–2025).
In addition, she has presented at numerous AST Educator Conferences, sharing her expertise and passion for advancing the surgical technology profession.
