New Program Complete Accreditation Package

 

This package is designed to provide support to build a surgical technology or surgical assisting program from the ground up. Package includes organizing one PAC meeting, assistance completing the Clinical Sufficiency Survey Form, assistance with clinical site development, curriculum development/review, resource and lab assessment, Self-Study completion assistance/review, initial site visit prep, and findings letter review.

 

New Program Self-Study Completion

 

Includes step-by-step guidance to develop and review the program’s self-study and supporting documentation. The consultant will work closely with the program director, guiding them through all steps to necessary to create and gather supporting documentation and complete the self-study, and will assist with bookmarking for submission to the ARC/STSA.

 

New Program Self-Study Review

 

EdAccred will review the completed self-study and supporting documentation prior to submission to the ARC/STSA.

Clinical Site Development/ Sufficiency

 

EdAccred will work with the program director/clinical coordinator to develop clinical affiliation agreements with local hospitals and surgery centers.

 

Curriculum Development

 

Curriculum development includes mapping objectives to program outcomes, creating core course syllabi with learning objectives, skills assessment rubrics, clinical case log template, and clinical evaluations.

 

Accreditation Visit Preparation - Initial

 

The EdAccred team will assist the program with site visit preparation, which includes a review of the program self-study, supporting documentation, and a complete program audit.
