Paul Landsman, AAS, BAS, CST

Paul Landsman is an Assistant Professor and Clinical Coordinator for the Surgical Technology and Sterile Processing Programs at South Plains College in Lubbock, Texas. He holds an A.A.S. in Surgical Technology and B.A.S. in Surgical Services, is a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in educational leadership at Wayland Baptist University. He has more than 30 years of experience in surgical technology and 16 years in education.

As Clinical Coordinator, Landsman serves as an important connection between the college and its healthcare partners. He works closely with hospital leadership, clinical educators, and preceptors to strengthen partnerships, address the changing needs of clinical sites, and create quality learning opportunities for students.

Landsman brings decades of operating room experience into his teaching and mentorship of future professionals. He is passionate about helping students develop confidence, professionalism, accountability, and the hands-on skills necessary to transition successfully from the classroom to the clinical environment and ultimately into the workforce.
