Shae Coleman, CST, BS, FAST

Shea Coleman, CST, BS, FAST, is the Program Director of the Surgical Technology program at Holmes Community College, where she has served as an educator and leader for over a decade. With more than 15 years of operating room experience and a strong foundation in surgical practice, she is committed to preparing students for both certification success and real-world performance.

Coleman is an active member of the Association of Surgical Technologists, serving as Treasurer for the Mississippi State Assembly and contributing nationally as a member of the Education Professional Standard Committee. Her work centers on strengthening curriculum design, improving CST exam readiness, and aligning programs with accreditation standards through structured, outcome-driven strategies.

Known for her organized and practical approach to program leadership, Coleman is passionate about developing future surgical technologists and supporting fellow educators in building strong, compliant, and student-centered programs.
